Position Summary

Penticton Regional Hospital’s Perinatal department is a very active and busy unit, we have a relief part time opportunity waiting for you!

As the Perinatal Nurse, you will practice in a perinatal clinical setting and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Penticton Regional Hospital serves a large geographical area stretching from Summerland to Osoyoos and across to Princeton. We have an active Perinatal Committee that works hard to ensure excellent standards of care.

This is a relief part time position until October 12, 2020 or return of incumbent. Days of work are rotating and shifts are 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education & experience.

Current Fetal Health Surveillance.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR) within 2 years.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
