The Associated Deputy Minister’s Office (ADMO) provides oversight for the Liquor Distribution Branch, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, and manages corporate priorities and strategic engagement programs, including anti-money laundering (AML).
The Senior Policy Analyst holds a key role in the ADMO and will be an integral part of the development of a new government AML strategy and policy, including enforcement measures under review. Working with the, Corporate Priorities and Strategic Engagement team, the Senior Policy Analyst will work closely with the Gaming Policy and Enforcement branch, the Police Services Branch within the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, and other industry stakeholders.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (Social Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, Business Administration, or Law) or equivalent with three years of related experience; OR, a related post graduate degree with one year of related research and policy experience; OR, an equivalent combination of related experience, education and/or training.
- Experience in drafting legislation, regulations and/or Orders In Council. Preferred two years or more experience.
- Experience in leading complex projects/assignments.
- Demonstrated experience with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing business improvements.
