The Primary Care Division sets the foundation for the delivery of high quality health services by establishing patient centered health services policy for the delivery of provincial health care services. The division monitors quality assurance in the system, designs service delivery models that meet the needs of patients and works with service delivery partners on key action and quality improvement initiatives.

This position will coordinate and lead the research, analysis, development and implementation of Primary Care Networks (PCN) and associated strategic policies and legislation within the Division.

As the Senior Policy Analyst, you are able to work effectively in a team environment, while also independently managing projects and tasks. Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Masters Degree (preferred) in public administration, business administration, health administration, law, economics or a related field and a minimum of 3 years progressive and recent, related experience* OR
  • Bachelors Degree in public administration, business administration, health administration, law, economics or a related field and a minimum of 4 years progressive and recent, related experience* OR
  • Diploma in health in public administration, business administration, health administration, law, economics or a related field and a minimum of 5 years progressive and recent, related experience* OR
  • A minimum of 6 years progressive and recent, related experience*

*Recent progressive and recent, related experience must include:

  • Experience developing legislation, regulation and policy in the health care sector or social policy sector.
  • Experiencing developing and implementing policies and issues-management.
  • Experience providing policy and issues-management advice to senior executives and preparing briefing materials.
