Niagara Peninsula Aboriginal Area Management Board is seeking a:
Programs Administrative Support 10 Month Contract Position (40 hours per week) (With Potential for Renewal)
Location: Fort Erie, Ontario
The Program Administrative Support will work in a fast paced environment and provide administrative and client file management support to the Service Delivery Manager.
College diploma in office administration and a minimum of 5 years working in an office within an administrative capacity
In lieu of a post-secondary education, a minimum of 10 years experience working in an administrative capacity, may be considered
Meticulous file and records keeping skills
Ability to interact professionally with customers
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and their histories
Working knowledge of office computer systems including: Windows 10 OS and MAC iOS.
Applications include: Office 2016 (includes Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for MAC and Windows, and Office 365 with Sharepoint Online and One Drive. Also a working knowledge of business use of smart phones and mobile devices is required
Client File Management:
Prepare, label and organize contract files and ensure all necessary documents are gathered, signed, and inputted into files and into client database
Ensure client files are securely stored
Maintain and update Youth Service Officers and Youth Navigators’ report binders
Assist Service Delivery Manager with compiling data for Program reports
Ensures that all required confidentiality requirements are met
Ensure adequate supply of office stationery and equipment when required
Manages inbound/outbound shipping and receiving
Takes minutes of program meetings and follows up on action items
Provides administrative support to NPAAMB head office when directed.
The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license, ability to work overtime periodically, and ability to travel t o fulfill the duties of the position.
