Position Summary
Our welcoming and cohesive, multi-disciplinary team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook are seeking casual Registered Nurses to join them in providing outstanding patient-centered nursing care for surgical daycare patients.

Based within our fast paced pre-surgical screening and surgical day care unit, the RN provides nursing care and support for surgical patients. This is a casual position which means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shift times are Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 11:00 to 19:00, 14:00 to 22:00 on an as needed basis. Casual RN employees are eligible to apply for internally posted vacancies including temporary and permanent opportunities.

If you have more than 3 years of recent experience in surgical nursing, excellent availability for casual shifts and shifts at short notice – then we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing professionals (BCCNP)
Current CPR certification.
Three years recent related experience in an acute surgical setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
