Lake Errock Chevron located at 43740 Lougheed Hwy, Lake Errock, BC, Box 59 is looking for an experienced and energetic Retail Store Supervisor to join its team.

 

Job Description:
Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Position Available: 1

Job type: Full Time and permanent

Wage: $ 19.00/hour for 40 hours/week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Lake Errock, BC
Job Duties:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
  • Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
  • Authorize payments by cheques and the return of merchandise
  • Sell merchandise to customers
  • Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
  • Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Train or arrange for the training of new sales staff.

 

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Work experience: 1-2 years of manager or supervisory experience within the retail sector or at least 2-3 years of previous experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, etc. will be considered

 

Essential Skills: Reading text, Problem solving, Decision making, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning.

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work Under Pressure, combination of sitting, standing and walking
