Reporting directly to the Sourcing Operations Manager, the Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing monthly KPI and performance reporting , Service Level Agreements/RU audits, and other reporting requirements as necessary.
Perform data analytics and opportunity analysis in support of sourcing as required
The Senior Reporting Analyst will also be play an advisory role to the Manager, Sourcing Operations in relation to performance reporting and analytics.
Lead efforts in preparing monthly KPI and Performance Reporting for all Supply Chain Services (Including Warehouse, CTS and A/P)
Analyze performance reporting results and provide recommendations and action plans in order to improve results
Provide specialized business interpretations of KPI and Performance to Sourcing teams and Supply Chain Department
Provide guidance to junior respurce on day-to-day KPI and Performance Reporting to all Supply Chain Services
Collaborate with sourcing teams and other internal Supply Chain stakeholders to execute action plans designed to improve the performance reporting results
Actively develop, maintain and improve performance reporting governance and calculation methodologies for KPI’s, including the development of new KPI’s to align to evolving priorities
Become a trusted source of information and expertise for Manager Sourcing Operations and Sourcing teams when additional data or new reporting is required
Collaborate with other Hydro One divisions for planning and special projects (e.g. Investment Planning, COO chief of staff, Office of the President & CEO)
Periodically review internal processes and propose changes or new IT solutions to improve reporting efficiency
Lead the design and build SAP BI and Spend reporting tools for use by all Supply Chain functions
Master Data Governance (i.e maintain and actively monitor the Hydro One Sourcing Taxonomy (HOST), provide guidance to sourcing teams on SAP fields to use etc.)
Receive a;; requests for set-up or update of master data files (i.e. Material Master, Service Master)
Perform SLA reporting and RU audits
Handle ad hoc reporting and requests from Vp and or/Director
Perform other duties as required
Requires strong knowledge of reporting and analytics, data modeling, extraction and manipulation of large amounts of data. Requires strong financial and business operation acumen.
Requires good interpersonal skills and knowledge of communication techniques.
Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the completion of 4 years of University training in the appropriate field, or by having the equivalent level of education
Requires experience in the analysis of supply chain business processes and the understanding of translating business needs into effective analysis reports to guide management in the control and adjustment of business process.
6 years and up to and including 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
