Senior Technical Analyst
Salary $66,200.03 – $75,658.71 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

As a SharePoint – Senior Technical Analyst within the NCCS team the position will support, maintain and manage infrastructure technology products and related services, develop and maintain computer systems infrastructure technology policies, procedures and standards and provide advice and counsel to branch and ministry staff, clients and vendors. This position may be required to work on call and/or overtime.
NCCS (Network, Communications, and Collaboration Services) is a branch within the OCIO (Office of the Chief Information Officer) providing innovative and cost affordable solutions to Ministries and program areas within government. NCCS provides a wide range of services such Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, enterprise voice, conferencing, and data network services across the province of BC. Qualifications for this role include:
Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field or minimum 4 years of a combination of education, training and experience. Preference may be given to applicants with 5 or more years of experience.
Experience with Microsoft and Cloud technologies (including: Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business, Azure, Infrastructure as a Service, and Software as a Service). Preference will be given to applicants with experience supporting Office 365, SharePoint 2010/2016 and current and future SharePoint technologies.
2 years of experience using Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.net, PowerShell, .Net Framework, Windows server technologies, and Structured Query Language (SQL) server.
Experience managing projects, developing action plans, and leading project teams in technical projects in a large enterprise environment. Preference may be given to applicants with 2 or more years working experience.
Experience coordinating resolution of technical and business problems while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
