Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
Hire and coach payroll product engineers.
Lead, Mentor and Manage development of Payroll Cloud software
Manage a team of engineers and is expected to build the team as well.
Provides strategic management direction for software development and manages a team of developers and their projects through completion
Manage development projects from initial design through testing or intake projects from Innovation teams for the end
Analyzes designs and develops software enhancements and new modules
Manage team of payroll product engineers
Consult, develop and implement best practices on payroll policies in payroll cloud
Design standards for payroll cloud product engineering technical work
Prepare functional design specifications for complex functionalities for payroll cloud
Design and present payroll product prototypes
Coordinate and review payroll technical and functional designs.
Manage the software lifecycle of the payroll product development including but not limited to design, development, testing,
Lead definition and validation of various payroll related conversion activities
Coordinate efforts between other Payroll cloud resources to implement the best solution
Work directly with client’s SMEs to understand the business requirements and interpret them to appropriate configurations of the Oracle Cloud Payroll module
Lead the team of engineers to create and update test scripts needed for functional testing
Manage system related processes and documentation and suggest changes to procedures
Advise with continuous process improvement and provide insights into best practices
Manage development of key payroll processes such as payroll cycle management, monthly payroll accruals, garnishment and lien processing, etc.
– Recruit, train and supervise staff.
– Ability to supervise from 5 to 10 people.

Computer, skills, experience and Technology Knowledge required:
Data processing and systems
Development of computer applications
Enterprise Applications Integration (EAI)
Data analysis and interpretation
– Education: A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in computer science, business administration, commerce, engineering or Information Technology is required.
– Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design or computer programming, including supervisory experience, are required.
Due to the critical projects we handle, the candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Payroll Cloud Software
Salary: $70.00 per hour, 37.5 hours per week.
