Noorish, Inc. is looking for a Sous-chef in Edmonton, AB, for our family owned restaurant offering Vegan, Vegetarian, and raw organic, conscious cuisine.
Sous-Chefs Specific Skills
Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers, Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.
Chefs and Specialist Chefs Specific Skills
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, Create new recipes, Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory, Analyze operating costs and other data, Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, Requisition food and kitchen supplies, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Educational requirement: Cook Trade Certification
Related experience: 2 – 3 Years Experience.
Wage offered: $18.00 per hour for 30 hours/week, Permanent, Full Time. Other Benefits.
