Reporting to the Support Network Manager, IT Systems, carry out independent projects, and participate in teams engaged in the development and integration of effective business processes, leveraging the capabilities of OSS/BSS platforms provided by Hydro One Telecom. Serve as liaison between internal lines of business and the information technology department, ensuring that usage of OSS/BSS platforms is aligned the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will drive goals and performances related to the HOT business processes and will be accountable for making decisions on functional reports to support business decisions and outcomes.
Provide primary business process analysis support for Hydro One Telecom’s Operating & Business Support System (OSS/BSS) platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and develop processes, applications and training to support the business.
Understand, document and conceptualize integrated business processes and relate them to the information technology platforms which the business relies on to accomplish its work program.
Monitor organizational performance, using a variety of diagnostic tools, and participate in change management initiatives to secure organizational alignment and improved performance.
Facilitate/lead an effective team pursuit of goals in a process driven, multi-disciplinary environment.
Interpret and assess organizational performance as it relates to the execution of a complex work program, paying particular attention to the effectiveness of business processes, and the penetration and successful adaptation of allied software tools and data systems.
Produce or oversee the development of the communication requirements relating to a wide variety of business operations processes and related subjects making presentations to various audiences associated with the technical and operational processes affected.
Exercise limited or periodic supervision over staff assigned to assist/contribute to specific studies or projects.
Perform other duties as required.

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
Requires a sound knowledge of the theories and principles relating to business methods, processes, operations, including change management techniques and the computerized applications associated with a modern business environment.
Experience in working to demanding deadlines, high workload, and some degree of conflicting priorities to seek alignment and process improvement.
Effective leadership skills to navigate through various HOT functional groups to garner resources and motivate to accomplish tasks.
Experience in business process analysis, modeling and refinement.
Experience in effectively capturing use cases, documenting user requirements and translating requirements into test cases.
Experience working with OSS/BSS platforms including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce), ITSM (Prolin/OVSD/ServiceNow) and Inventory Management (Granite/ArcFM).
Experience with ITIL practices, with specific knowledge of Service Management processes including Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
Experience with modeling telecom networks, and other practices related to telecom inventory management.
Ability to produce process documentation and deliver training on process-related topics.
Experience in querying of relational database management systems using SQL.
Project management experience of small to medium size projects.
Experience with a BPM suite would be considered an asset.
This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the completion of 4 years of University training (Grade XII plus 5 years).
