Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Undergraduate degree in GIS, resource management, or computer science plus a minimum of two year related experience; OR Technical Diploma in computer science/programming or GIS plus a minimum of four years related experience.
  • Experience designing and developing customized spatial applications.
  • Experience delivering spatial analysis projects in support of client’s business needs.
  • Experience with ArcGIS model builder, python, SQL, JavaScript, XHTML, and CSS.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in web mapping applications.


  • Must have and maintain a valid Class 5 Drivers License.  (This position will require some travel to various locations throughout the province to provide workshops, training, and technical support).
