In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education, experience and professional designation requirement as outlined below:

  • Diploma or degree in forestry engineering or related field.
  • Registered with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals as an RFT or RPF.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Experience providing direction to contracted resources.
  • Valid B.C. driver’s licence.
  • Ability to operate various types of equipment.
  • Conduct field work which may include travel by vehicle and/or outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Please include your registration number with the Association of BC Forest Professionals (ABCFP) within your application as you must be registered or immediately eligible for registration as a Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) or A Registered Professional Forester (RPF) with the ABCFP. If you are not yet a RFT or RPF with the ABCFP, please explain how you are immediately eligible (i.e. currently a RFT or RPF member in good standing in Alberta or Saskatchewan and can immediately transfer to the ABCFP).
