The Manager of Crown Sales and GIS Services manages petroleum and natural gas subsurface rights and tenure information and associated geospatial information to support broader program area needs, including supervising and overseeing professional staff.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Undergraduate degree in geomatics, resource management, geography or computer science or related area.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) developing and managing large spatial and attribute data sets and experience with database management tools and applications. Petroleum and natural gas tenure management experience preferred.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) developing methodologies, and performing custom geospatial data modelling and complex analysis and interpretations. Petroleum and natural gas tenure management experience preferred.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) in supervising, leading, coaching staff and or teams.
