In this position you will interact with children, families, youth in care and foster parents and provides case management assistance to Ministry social workers, clinicians, and probation officers who maintain case management responsibility for service delivery.  Key responsibilities include assisting in the conducting of child abuse/neglect investigations, supporting youth-in-care (YIC) and service providers in independent living plan; implementing planned moves of children-in-care (CIC), maintaining contact with CIC, foster parents and families; liaising with community services for Child Youth Special Needs; supporting the delivery of Child Youth Mental Health services; and other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Minimum of grade 12 education with at least 2 years certification/diploma or post secondary education in the related field such as child and youth care, or related Human Service equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children and youth in a directly related field.
