Position Summary
If you are a motivated and organized Practical Nurse with recent supervisory experience, then Interior Health has a great Team Leader opportunity for you in the beautiful community of Golden, B.C.

The Team Leader coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other unregulated members of the team, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocating for changes that improve client care. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, performs assessments, makes nursing diagnosis, implements and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.

This is a relief/temporary opportunity expected to run until September 2021. Shifts of work are rotating days from 08:00-16:00. We offer competitive compensation, generous vacation entitlement and many benefits and employee services to support you at every stage of your career.

Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and three (3) years of recent, related acute, residential or community care experience including one (1) year supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
