The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for one tenure-track appointment commencing July 1, 2019 in the Department of Economics at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications for the position are candidates who hold, or will have nearly completed, a PhD in Economics. Preference will be given to candidates who show evidence of exceptional promise in research and teaching. The successful candidates will be expected to: develop and maintain a productive research agenda; provide effective teaching to undergraduate and MA students; participate in service to the university and the profession. Applicants with fields in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics will be considered.
