14th Annual imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival Announces Festival Award Winners
On Saturday, October 19 at imagineNATIVE’s Awards Show and Reception at The Hoxton, the esteemed Awards Jury considered film, video, radio and new media works from Canadian and international Indigenous artists to select winners in 12 categories plus two Pitch Prizes with over $20,000 in cash and $7,500 of in-kind services.
imagineNATIVE will offer FREE screenings of the Best Dramatic Feature winning film Satellite Boy on Sunday, October 20 at 8:30pm and a collection of the Best Shorts winning films at 9pm at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Previously scheduled ticketed screenings for Sunday, October 20 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox include award-winning films such as Row at 10:30am; Who Will Be A Gurkha? at 1:45pm; and Før Hun Kom, Etter Han Dro and Mohawk Midnight Runners as part of the Iron Men: Shorts Program at 3:15pm.
