2014-15 Minister’s Student Advisory Council: Deadline to apply is February 28, 2014

Hi everyone, Please share broadly with your networks including colleagues that I may have missed on this email.  Student Success Teachers would be very helpful in encouraging a range of students to apply.  

Approximately 60 students.

• 6 seats for First Nation, Metis and Inuit students,
• 6 seats for Francophone students,
• 3 student trustees and
• 45 seats that include a range of students from grade 7-12.  

Please reach out through your networks to ensure young people who are not engaged  realize that the Minister needs to hear their voices as well as the voices for whom the system is working well.

There are two meetings.  May 6, 2014 in Toronto and at the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre (Aug 17-21).
