Learning Together 2008 is the 3rd annual conference organized by Learning Together Incorporated, a not-for-profit economic development organization created as the result of the past two conferences. The purpose of this organization is to address the lack of education within industry regarding First Nations governance, values, traditions, and mentality. These misunderstandings have contributed to numerous roadblocks at the exploration stage where community support is needed the most. This year’s conference will be the most exciting and educational yet! We have developed strong partnerships in Manitoba and are thrilled to host this year’s event in Winnipeg. As usual our conference will be a grassroots mixture of education, networking, economic development, and fun. Here are some of the things we have in store for our participants:

•PLENARY SESSIONS facilitated by professional moderators to highlight some of the key ideas and best practices from the conference

•THINK TANK SESSIONS that will challenge participants to work through real word solutions to challenges that can then be communicated to your communities

•NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES to enhance relations between industry and Indigenous communities

•CANADIAN DELEGATES SESSIONS will bring some of the most prominent experts on mining and exploration from around Canada

•EXHIBITORS TRADESHOW will highlight some of the best in the mining industry
