3rd Annual Indigenous Health & Well-being Initiative Summer School
The Inter-disciplinary Initiative (IDI) on Indigenous Health and Well-being at Western University (London, Ontario), is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 3rd Annual Summer School on Community Based Research in Indigenous Health and Well-Being, to be held June 1-4, 2014.
This summer school is fundamentally concerned with ensuring that evidence collected through community based research is used to make real, lasting difference in the Indigenous communities we work with and for, with this year’s context bridging local, national and international experiences.
The Summer School will allow an international pool of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows to learn together about best practices in research on Indigenous Health and Well-Being. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with nationally and internationally renowned researchers and policy makers. The Summer School will act as a platform for students to forge lasting collaborative networks for their later careers.
