N’Kwala School, Upper Nicola Band is honored to host the 6th Annual Okanagan Band Schools Syilx Language Conference. The theme k’iy’ntikw laspus smipnwiln; mi?ltxw ismipnwilns captures the essence of the conference: we must commit to our language and take the steps to ensure nsyilxcen is strong and sustained within our homes and surroundings.

This year, we are pleased to offer an opportunity for the Elders to share their issues and recommendations; plus an opportunity for them to share their wealth of language.
