A technology-facilitated trade show will be hosted in Sault Ste. Marie in November.

The second-annual Aboriginal Business Matcheast (ABM) aims at connecting Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal decision makers during face-to-face business meeting ventures.

The event is co-hosted between the Garden River and Mississauga First Nations and the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corp.

“ABM in Toronto last year was very successful and nationally, 92% of ABM delegates developed key contacts anticipating post-event deals with one in five signing at least one deal on the trade show floor,” said L. Maynard Harry, principal partner with Raven Events, the Aboriginal company that owns the ABM trademarks.
