Dear Members of the Cree Nation and Friends of the Cree Nation, I must regretfully inform you that our dear, dear friend and long time work companion ALBERT DIAMOND, President of Air Creebec Inc., passed away last night.I wish to extend my sincere condolences and the condolences of the members of the Boards of Directors of Cree Co. and of the Board of Compensation to his family, and I am sure that I am conveying the thoughts of all those who knew Albert for what he was: one of the nicest and gentle man in the Cree world. His name and his image will continue to stand out as that of a generous member of that generation of Crees that has been in the leadership of our Nation since the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement in 1975.

For many years now, he was dedicating all of his time to his job and passion: running Air Creebec. But always, in bad times as much as in good times, he would remain calm, thoughtful and organized.

He was one of our best business people and the kindest man. We will all miss him sorely.

From Albert family’s and Jack Blacksmith, Chairman of the Board of Air Creebec Inc.
