Creating Hope Society is hosting the “Blanket of Remembrance” 1st Memorial Round Dance for Aboriginal Children who have died while under the care of Child Welfare.
This round dance will provide the opportunity to view all Aboriginal children as being part of our nations, to empower families and communities to deal with their grief and losses.
Our central goal is to honor and raise awareness for these children who have passed away. As part of our culture, we are following our traditional ways of releasing our children’s spirit, who have never been acknowledged nor had a chance to tell their stories.
