“It’s very exciting to have two Canadian publishers join the ranks of our licensee program in printing the popular souvenir program and a number of volumes celebrating the Games,” said Dennis Kim, VANOC’s director of licensing and merchandising. “These are publications that athletes, international visitors and Canadians will forever treasure as signature Olympic and Paralympic keepsakes.”
K2 Sports of Seattle, Washington, will manufacture Vancouver 2010-branded winter sporting equipment including skis, snowboards, snowshoes, poles and helmets. “We’re confident that 2010-branded winter sport equipment from K2 Sports, a company known for its equipment innovations and passionate dedication to action sports, will be a must-have item for sport enthusiasts around the world,” said Kim.
