Call for Sponsors! Dreamcatcher Aboriginal Innovations Conference and 5th Annual Black Tie Gala
To whom it may concern:
As CEO of the DreamCatcher Charitable Foundation, it is my pleasure to announce our plans in presenting the 5th Annual Aboriginal Innovations Conference and 5th Annual DreamCatcher Black Tie Gala, October 28th and 29, 2009. The success of this event is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to the unique experience and for many, life changing event. The money we raise each year goes to providing support through grants to individuals and groups, with a goal of developing Aboriginal youth as our future community leaders. This year’s goal is $500,000 dollars. As you may be aware the DreamCatcher Foundation has had a busy year sustaining recognition as a national charitable and philanthropic organization providing financial grants for Aboriginal youth in four sectors; sports and recreation, arts and culture, education and health. This Fall, our focus will be on the two day conference which includes The Big Idea Contest. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to make a pitch to our panel of elite investors and live audience members with an opportunity to receive financing of up to $250,000 for the innovation or idea geared toward the Aboriginal Marketplace.
By participating as a sponsor during this conference, your organization will benefit from extended exposure through media campaigns and promotional efforts directed toward the supporters of The DreamCatcher Fund. For a small contribution, you will be able to enjoy excellent exposure to this important segment of your target audience and know that your donation is helping address situations unique to the First Nations community.
We have several levels of sponsorship packages, as detailed in the enclosed sponsorship commitment form. You can select the level of participation that best meets your needs, and be secure in the knowledge that your sponsorship fee will be used to help the DreamCatcher Foundation provide opportunities for our future community leaders.
We are counting on your support, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please find enclosed a package that details the Big Idea Contest along with a poster biographies of which illustrates the the panel investors including Jerry Monture, David Tuccarro, Brett Wilson, Belinda Stronach and Al McLeod.
