What You Need to Know About Markham Expo 150!

MARKHAM, ON, Aug. 31, 2017 – On Tuesday, September 5, come join us to be among the first to know what to expect at the Markham Expo 150!

Starting Friday, September 8, the City will be hosting the Markham Expo 150, a weekend-long festival celebrating Canada’s and Ontario’s 150 birthday, while showcasing Markham’s rich history, sports, arts and culture, agriculture and diversity.

Markham Expo 150 will feature an incredible line-up of internationally renowned entertainment, musical performances, food trucks, children’s activities, First Nations exhibition and community showcase. The main event will be on Sunday, September 10 at the Markham Civic Centre – a day-long celebration, ending with the ONTour Concert Series.

The City of Markham is pleased to announce that Canadian singer-songwriter, Jessica Mitchell, will be helping to kick-off the Markham Expo 150 celebrations with an acoustic performance at the press conference!
