FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Toronto, February 1, 2010 — The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is currently accepting applications for both protégés and mentors to participate in the Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program, and would like to invite you and your company to join in this exciting venture. The Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program opens a door for its member companies, community members, and Corporate Canada to directly engage, equip, and encourage Aboriginal entrepreneurs in Canada. The program has been designed to couple Aboriginal Business owners and executives (Protégés) with established industry experts (Mentors) who will guide their Protégés through setting, implementing and pursuing their business development goals.

“The Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program presents an exciting opportunity for Corporate Canada and Aboriginal entrepreneurs to come together and build relationships for sharing and success,” says CCAB President and CEO Clint Davis, “We are honoured to have the visionary support of ESS, a sector of Compass Group Canada, as well as the generous support of the Counselling Foundation of Canada for this venture, and we encourage all companies to participate in what promises to be a rewarding program.”

The Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program provides Aboriginal business owners with a mentoring experience that will guide and support them to meet their business goals. The Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program pairs Aboriginal entrepreneurs (protégés) with senior executives from Canadian companies (mentors) that will provide one-on-one advice on matters such as:

• Expanding into new markets
