Changing Ontario’s Mining Act shouldn’t hurt investment: gov’t, industry

TORONTO – Proposed changes to the Ontario Mining Act shouldn’t lead to diminished investment in the province’s multi-billion dollar mining industry as long as they’re implemented in a quick and fair way, government and industry stakeholders said Monday.
