Important opportunity for citizens to help guide Edmonton organizations
City Council is looking for one individual to join the Edmonton Police Commission (EPC). The Commission oversees the Edmonton Police Service to ensure that effective and efficient policing services are provided to the citizens of Edmonton.City Council is also looking for two individuals to serve on the Board of Directors for the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC). EEDC is strategically focused on Edmonton’s economic future as well as managing the Shaw Conference Centre and Edmonton Research Park. EEDC Board members facilitate opportunities to enhance the region’s business and tourism sectors through information, communications, promotions, research, networking and sales.
