OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(CCNMatthews – Jan. 24, 2007) – Correction to the media advisory sent Tuesday January 23, 2007 at 4:18 PM ET. Please note that the date and time of the event were missing in the previous version. The complete and corrected document follows.

The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, and the Honourable Edward Doherty, Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour and Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs for the Province of New Brunswick, will host the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Labour in Fredericton, New Brunswick from January 25-26, 2007.Discussion topics at the meeting include occupational health and safety with an emphasis on young workers, violence in the workplace, labour standards and Canada’s international labour activities.

The Ministers will be available to meet the media at the conclusion of the meeting. Upon arrival at the hotel, media are asked to go to the registration desk located in the foyer of the Grand Ballroom
C & D.
