Deepest Condolences to the family and friends of Grand Chief Ben Sylliboy

The Atlantic Chiefs wish to express the deep sense of loss for all the Mi’kmaq people across the region and around the world on his departure to the spirit realm with the creator. Grand Chief Ben Sylliboy has touched the lives of many people over the years and has played a critical role to improve the positive image of the Grand Council and all Mi’kmaq people. Chiefs, and all staff at our organization; wish to express our deepest sympathies for a Mi’kmaq leader who was loved by many people in all our communities. Our deepest heartfelt condolences go to his wife and family and community of We’koqma’q First Nation.
