Members will have the option to attend meetings in person or via video conferencing. In addition to sharing their thoughts with the minister and one another, students will have the opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills.
The selection process will be based on students completing their choice of a one-page essay, a three-minute PowerPoint presentation, or a video that completes the sentence: “If I were the Minister of Education, I would …”
Application packages, complete with consent forms, must be submitted to the Department of Education by March 27 and selected participants will be contacted by April 6.
