Release Date: March 20, 2013 NationTalk speaks to a youth documentary maker Bella McWatch and Elder Alita Sauve. Bella was one of 8 Aboriginal youth who developed, scripted, shot and edited documentary The Ripple Effect. It features self-portraits, interviews from people on the street and First Nations Elders on themes of disconnection in society. This documentary was a project by Leave Out Violence (LOVE), in collaboration with the Aboriginal Youth Skill Building Program (AYSBP) of Native Child & Family Services of Toronto (NCFST).
