Family rejects RCMP apology for poor investigation into Indigenous woman’s disappearance and death

The commanding officer of the RCMP in Alberta has apologized for how the force handled the 2010 disappearance and death of Amber Tuccaro, whose body was found in the bush around Edmonton two years after she got into the car of an unknown man for a ride into the city. But her family has rejected that apology, questioning its sincerity. (July 25, 2019.)
