FCC and its employees donate $392,762 to the United Way

Regina, Saskatchewan – For the 18th consecutive year, Farm Credit Canada (FCC) and its employees have shown their commitment to their communities by donating a total of $392,762 this year to local United Way chapters across the country.

“FCC celebrates our employees’ involvement in their communities and we’re more than happy to support that important work,” said Michael Hoffort, FCC president and CEO. “Every year, FCC employees join together to make a difference in their communities by supporting the United Way, and every year, I’m amazed at what they accomplish.”

FCC and its employeesDonations were raised through an internal campaign held from February 3 to 25. Apart from monetary donations, employees donate their time by participating in United Way activities and serve on local United Way boards.

The United Way partners with various local organizations to build a better future for our communities by focusing on children, youth and families while ensuring the crisis services our communities require are there when needed.

“Thanks to the generosity of Farm Credit Canada and its employees, we are working to improve the lives of Canadians across the country, “ said Dr. Jacline Nyman, president and  CEO of United Way Centraide Canada. “Together, we are making lasting, positive change by moving people from poverty to possibility, helping kids be all that they can be, and building strong and healthy communities.”
