Foundation For The Advancement Of Aboriginal Youth (FAAY) Scholarship Program

Award: Minimum amount of $2,500 is available to students pursuing a post-secondary education in any discipline. Various awards to apply to within the foundation.

Eligibility: Open to Canadian residents, of First Nation (Status or Non-Status), Métis and Inuit heritage who attend either high school or a post-secondary institute full-time within Canada. There are no age restrictions. Priority will be given to those who demonstrate financial need, academic and career commitment, contributions to family and community, and leadership and role model qualities. Deadline: Application available on website in August 2009, deadline typically in October.
