Nadya Kwandibens is an Anishinaabe / Ojibwe photographer who uses her work to tell vibrant and modern stories about Indigenous people from across Canada. Nadya visits Mi’kmaq Territory in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to photograph the people and their vibrant culture. “I think at the heart of it our cultures are about being a part of something and creating unity. Not only within our own community but as Nations – it’s so good to see.” The Indigenous Voices video series is created in partnership between the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada and Destination Canada, and tells stories of Indigenous people by Indigenous people.
