International Symposium on:”Linguistic Rights in the World, the current situation”, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Universal Esperanto Association and the 60th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights.The Universal Esperanto Association (UEA) makes its contribution to the promotion of linguistic rights across the world, in particular through its activities in support of the right to use and be educated in one’s own mother tongue. Linguistic rights are vital to all peoples, whatever the size of their population. This right needs to be preserved especially for small groups. The Universal Esperanto Association (UEA) has been supporting minority languages for over 100 years.
