I appreciate his commitment to promoting wellness and mental health through sport, and I look forward to areas where we can collaborate in improving outcomes for Inuit in Canada.

“Jordin has shown Inuit that we can come from our small Inuit Nunangat communities and succeed at the highest levels of our chosen sport. Thank you for persevering when there were many barriers in your path.

“On a personal level, I have appreciated Jordan’s friendship and support over the years and wish him the best in his retirement from the NHL.”
