In this edition, Ms. Peacock discusses her role with TD Bank that includes many responsibilities such as developing new products, being a member of the Diversity Leadership Council and leading the Aboriginal peoples’ committee.
The Aboriginal Peoples’ Committee serves several functions, it ensures TD creates an opportunity for Aboriginal employees and that they are serving the needs of Aboriginal consumers and businesses. The Committee also works with Aboriginal communities.
Ms. Peacock highlights diversity issues and TD Bank’s history with making diversity a priority. She explains that TD has made great progress.
The career opportunities in banking, says Ms. Peacock may be very rewarding for Aboriginal people.
