Larry Chartrand from The Indigenous Bar Association

Release Date: April 30, 2013 Nationtalk speaks to Larry Chartrand from The Indigenous Bar Association. The IBA has announced a new law student scholarship in memory of Ronald Peigan. Currently, one scholarship is awarded annually by the Indigenous Bar Association Law Student Scholarship Foundation.

This scholarship is awarded during the IBA annual conference in October. A Scholarship of $2,000 will be presented each year to an Indigenous law student that best demonstrates financial need, academic merit and commitment to Indigenous legal matters.
