Life on some reserves ‘unacceptable,’ minister says

TORONTO — The living conditions on some Ontario first nation reserves, where contaminated land has forced several communities to close their local schools, are “offensive” and “unacceptable,” Ontario Aboriginal Affairs Minister Michael Bryant said yesterday.
