Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government: Update from the Education Directorate

Please note that a decision was made today to keep the Alaqsite’w Gitpu School closed until May 1st. Training opportunities within Listuguj will also be delayed until May 1st. Parents, staff and community members cannot access the school building or education complex, and deep cleaning will be done. If parents need to retrieve items from student lockers, they are asked to email jeff.grass@listuguj.ca so arrangements can be made. Also, preparations are being made to establish an online learning platform for students to learn from home, and communicate with their teachers. More information to come.
