Manslaughter charges laid in connection to Spence Street homicide – CBC

A 28-year-old woman is charged in connection to the death of Marilyn Oshawee in Winnipeg.
Fenisha Peebles is charged with manslaughter.
Oshawee, 37, was found dead Saturday at a home on the 500 block of Spence Street in the city’s West End.
A police patrol unit was passing by the home around 4:30 a.m. when officers noticed number of people out front. The officers stopped to investigate and came across Oshawee on the front porch.
Several people were taken into custody for questioning and then released without charges. Peebles was then arrested and charged.
