Media Advisory – Monique Bateman of TD Canada Trust tells her story for National Aboriginal Day

National Aboriginal Day celebrates the journey, achievements and contributions of the Métis, First Nations and Inuit peoples of Canada, collectively and individually. In recognition of this day, Monique Bateman, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, TD Canada Trust, is available to tell her story.Monique started her TD Canada Trust career 29 years ago as a customer service representative in Winnipeg. Since then, she has blossomed into a key figure at the bank and a role model in the Aboriginal community. In addition to her role as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Monique is also the chair of the Aboriginal Employee Subcommittee and says that her success is due in large part to her Métis background and growing up in the small community of St. Ambroise.
