August 29, 2017, Winnipeg, Manitoba – This fall Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) will be taking its viewers on a journey through the lens of Indigenous Canada and beyond. APTN is unleashing some very powerful new series that give an authentic and important voice to those on the forefront. Capturing and responding to the nationwide call to action through reconciliation. The new fall lineup rolls out September 4, 2017.

Digging deep into the issues facing Indigenous Canada and showcasing the resilience and beauty woven through the colonialist tapestry that blankets the Nation. APTN is on the front lines with those advocating for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), to the Water Protectors and Land Defenders, this fall is sure to bring the viewers up close and personal with the real issues at hand.

Confronting head-on, the national epidemic of Canada’s missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. APTN will be co-broadcasting the second season of Taken with CBC.
