KINGSTON – Queen’s University, along with Indigenous partners and local community members, will host a special reception on March 21 to celebrate the release of the final report of the Queen’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission Task Force. The event marks an important milestone for the university as it moves to improve and build good relations with the Indigenous community and creating meaningful institutional change.

What: A reception and celebration marking the release of the Queen’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission Task Force report.

When: March 21, 2017 from 5:30-7 pm.

Where: Agnes Etherington Art Centre (36 University Ave)

Visuals: Presentation of the task force’s report and recommendations, remarks by Principal Daniel Woolf, and several performances by local Aboriginal groups.

Media are asked to RSVP by Monday, March 21 at 4:30 pm.
