Media Advisory – The 2008 Western Premiers’ Conference will be held in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, May 28 to 30

Premiers and delegates from Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are expected to attend. Western Governors from the United States have also been invited to take part in this year’s WPC, in keeping with the practice of inviting governors every second year.Members of the media who wish to attend this conference must fill out an application for accreditation (attached) and mail, fax or e-mail it to the Canadian Intergovernmental Conference Secretariat, using the contact information indicated on the form.

For more information on this year’s conference, please visit to the 2008 WPC website www.gov.sk.ca/wpc. The site’s “Media Room” section includes an electronic version of the application for accreditation, as well as travel and accommodation information for media wishing to cover the WPC.
